Beautiful Site

We checked out the famous Rainbow Row. Beautiful old houses. You should definitely check it out while you are out and about in Charleston.

Rainbow Row is at the corner of East Bay Street and Boyce's S Wharf for those of you GPS users out there.

By the way Rainbow Row is right near the Pineapple Fountain. We parked in a deck nearby and walked around the area.

If you are expecting more than old architecture this is not really your attraction to visit though haha.

Rainbow Row is a block of colored stucco homes and a favorite for photographers and artists. A unique hue of homes that are easily identified as 'Charleston'. These homes were once a commerce section of the old Charleston. Shop keepers had first floor shops and lived in the quarters above. A vivid and uniquely colorful street.

Rainbow Row is Charleston's most colorful street, a series of houses, each painted in a different pastel color. It's nearly impossible to capture the effect of this street on film (I tried) so take it all in while you can.
