EPCOT

EPCOT is a classic Disney park, delightfully well themed and full of engaging activities for all members of the family. It is divided into two areas, Future World at the front of the park and World Showcase framing the lagoon farther back in the park. Spaceship Earth (the big silver sphere) is the center point and offers a wonderful glimpse into the history of communication from prehistoric days to the present.

Future World offers several exciting rides that offer a glimpse into the future and adventures for all ages. Test Track is a great new ride that enables the rider to experience break, heat, cool, speed, hill climb, and other tests. Innoventions is like a huge hands-on museum where kids and adults can engage in fun experiments, play with computers, and learn about today's world and the future. Soarin’ is a ride of pure Disney magic. Guests board their ride vehicle and get to experience the sensation of hang gliding over California, complete with dangling legs; the scents of oranges, sea spray, and pines; gusts of wind; a fabulous musical score; and more. This is truly one of my favorite Disney rides anywhere.

World Showcase offers a nice glimpse into many of the world's cultures (Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, USA, Japan, Morocco, Franc, UK, and Canada). It’s very nice to look at, but is more or less a shopping and dining area boasting only two rides (a gentle boat ride in Mexico and a small flume ride in Norway). There are also a few video presentations, though, and lots of performers, so it is an entertaining place to visit.

One perk of EPCOT is that it has loads of fabulous food options. Mexico, China, Japan, and the UK all have wonderful food, as do the other countries. Try the fish-and-chips at the UK pavilion for a pretty authentic British treat.

Don't forget to take advantage of Disney's FastPass system and avoid the lines for the top attractions.

Epcot- World Showcase- Part I

Lots and lots and lots of walking, but nevertheless very enjoyable. The eateries were genuine representations of what someone might expect in a given country. The souvenirs that were offered are genuine from that country, as well. I wanted to purchase a cuckoo clock straight from the "Black Forest" in Germany, but I didn't come prepared to invest the money needed to complete a transaction. That will be on my list for next year.

Epcot- Future World

It takes a good while to go through Epcot Center; I guess that's why it is broken down into two parts - Future World and The World Showcase.

Epcot Center

Epcot Center is great. It is a very educational park that is a lot of fun as well. There are multiple countries where you can sample their wares or ways of cooking. It is set up so beautifully, to resemble the actual place that was being copied. They have street performers out in the streets and really neat items for sale. Their newest rides are Mission Space and Test Tract. Both rides are great, and they feel very real. Just like Disney has done in the past, they strive hard to make your experience as close to the real thing as they can get, and they do a great job of it. You must definitely hit these new two rides if you are headed to Epcot Center.

Walt Disney World: Epcot

It is a very big park, and you can get hot really quick. If you do, duck into the Coke Hall. They have Coke from around the world, and its A/C works great.I personally loved everything about this park.
