Amsterdam's Canals

When walking around Amsterdam, it's nice to look at the canals as a major sight instead of just a body of water that surrounds the city. The city is divided into five main sections: The Old Centre, The Old Jewish Quarter, The Jordaan, The Grachtengordel and The Museum Quarter -- canals were built throughout the city's history to connect each section for trade and transport.
