Description
The Lyonnais hills are well-known for the wildlife that is protected from the surrounding towns. The source of the Yzeron river is in these low mountains (no ski slopes here, but it does get very cold). Near the source in the Yzeron community there is a 3 hectare stretch of water that has been specially re-developed as a recreation area for swimming, fishing and pedalos. The view from here over the Rhone valley is wonderful.
