Description
One of Dresden's best-known landmarks, the so-called 'Tobacco Mosque' is a former tobacco factory with a green dome which is strangely reminiscent of a Middle Eastern mosque. The 'Mosque' is now home to a nightclub and a restaurant which serves up tasty local and oriental cuisine - although the undoubted highlight is watching the sun slowly set over the river. The restaurant also hosts readings by local actors at the weekend, although these events tend to sell out quickly.
