This is Jerusalem's best attempt at an American-style bookstore, and to my knowledge the bookstore with the largest floor space in the city. There are tables of attractively laid out books, grouped according to subject or to special offers (two for the price of one, etc). If you read Hebrew, this is a wonderful place to browse.

The English selection is confined to a few shelves at the side of the store, with novels, classics, translations of Israeli literature and titles related to religion and spirituality. There is an impressive range of foreign magazines and newspapers, including speciality publications. The children's corner has plastic chairs and tables for young readers to sit at while their parents browse through the more grown-up titles.
