Description
Originally established in 1925 as a personal ranch retreat by oilman Frank Phillips of Phillips Petroleum in an attempt to preserve the beauty of the Old West, this facility now is home to a large museum complex and wildlife preserve. The name Woolaroc is taken from 'woods, lakes and rocks.' The ranch hosts a museum, a Native American Heritage Center, a petting zoo, a drive-through natural preserve, a nature trail and more. About an hour north of Tulsa toward Bartlesville, this is a great day trip for the family.
Admission: $5 adults, $4 seniors, free for children under 12.
