Wilpena Pound is an enormous natural basin in the heart of Flinders Ranges National Park. The shape of the interior has been the basis for Aboriginal Dreaming stories.
The resort is set next to Wilpena Pound and offers accommodation as well as tours. There is a range of air-tours that vary in length, itinerary and price. The areas covered are visually dramatic and far ranging; from salt-lakes and mountains to the Simpson Desert; from opal mines to unique pubs and trails. Trips also cover the incredible journeys and lives of early explorers and outback dwellers.
