White Water-Water Park

The water park itself was nice, but compared to others that I have been to, I was disappointed with the amount of lifeguards on duty, especially on what is considered an adventurous ride.

From journal I know where they went...

Whitewater

Fun for the whole family. You can't bring in ice chests, but you can leave them in the car, and when you want to eat, you just go out to the car. You can either eat in the parking lot, or there is a picnic area outside the park where you can sit. There are lockers available for rent. There is a shop for souvenirs, bathing suits, etc. There is wonderful food--a little pricey, though.

We spent two days at White Water because we had a season pass with extra guest tickets. So we didn't feel like we needed to spend from opening until closing to get our money's worth.

We did it all from the wave pool to the lazy river to the kid's play areas, to the nice selection of water slides. It was a great way to cool off on a very hot week of above average temperatures. Be sure to take the sun screen!

If you've ever visited the Ozarks in the summer, you are well aware that the heat and humidity can be ruthless. Thus, White Water is a great place to visit during your trip to Branson! This is a typical Water Park with the various heights and styles of slides, shoots, inner-tube rides, a lazy river, and a wave pool. The nice ice cream treats even reinforce the keeping cool theme. This was a great time for our family, especially if you are travelling with kids... Go For It!

White Water Park is a great way to spend a day in Branson. We always go here every year. There are lots of water slides, a lazy river, and a wave pool. There are also separate areas for toddlers and young children. Adults are allowed to ride on any ride with the kids. White Water supplies life jackets but be sure to bring along a towel. Arrive early at the park because that's the best time to ride the slides. There are no lines when the park first opens at 9am.

A good place to set up camp for the day is at the wave pool. If you do not like sun there are shaded areas that have plenty of chairs. There is a separate picnic area where you can bring your own picnic lunch or you can purchase food from the food vendors. The prices are reasonable for food. The lifeguards are trained well and I felt very comfortable letting our children go from slide to slide without my constant supervision.

I suggest you rent a locker for a day for $5. Then you get a couple dollars back for returning the key. This is a wonderful way to lock up valuables while you ride the slides.
