Description
This unique and remarkable collection of memorabilia from the 1930s and 40s started nearly 20 years ago with a small Oxo tin. Visitors can now enjoy a nostalgic look back at how we used to live, with scenes including a corner shop and typical kitchen of the era.
All the memorabilia is original, from the crockery to the wallpaper. You can view authentic household products on the shelves and old domestic appliances like a washboard and mangle. There is also a pleasant tearoom next door offering hot and cold refreshments throughout the day.
