Water Tower Place is an mid-to-upscale mall located in the heart of Michigan Ave. I loved it; It was well decorated and not overly crowded.

The Mezzanine and 2nd floors are mostly food. Theres a great food court that offers alot of different types of cuisine. Theres also a nice salad and soup bar thats located next door.

Floors 3-7 are all shopping. No matter how many people are there, they never seem crowded. There are alot of typical mall stores like Wet Seal and Forever 21, then there are more upscale places like French Connection.

On every floor, there is access to Macy*s. This used to be a Marshall Field's but Macy*s bought them out back in 2005. There are escalators both in the Macy*s and in the mall itself, and there are two elevators and an express elevator that goes from 2-7 only.

Overall, this is a nice mall in a great location. I had a ton of fun here; The food was great, it was very clean, and the people were very friendly. This is a must-see for any die-hard shopper!

This is a very beautiful mall located in the heart of the city. It is right on the Magnificent Mile and oh-so-magnificent it is! It's very nicely kept and decorated (with cute little fountains). There is a lot to do inside. They have many stores, many which are also designer stores. There are stores for everybody in the family here. My favorite part of this mall is their food court -- it's huge and there are many options too choose from!

It is architecturally beautiful. It has something for everyone. There are world renowned stores present in Water Tower Place. My favorite was the Chocolate Shop that offered a selection to make you drool. My wife and daughter were also ecstatic with their selection of chocolates. There is also a movie theater that runs first run movies located inside. It is a fun place to shop and window shop alike. The design of criss-crossing escalators, glass elevators, and glass walled balconies on multiple levels overlooking everything makes it an exiting place to be. It is a Chicago landmark and should be a must visit place on every visitors itinerary.

In 1977 Water Tower Place brought the concept of vertical shopping malls to Chicago. The mall is in many respects an anomaly. Its populatity with out-of-towners and tourists is inexplicable, since its collection of stores can be found at many mainstream mall in the nation. But as a destination it is an unbeatable draw that offers a safely familiar shopping experience within the large urban milieu.
