Description
Located on the western side of Lake Boeng Kak, this Wat is notable for its wall paintings. They are said to have survived the Khmer Rouge, which makes them older than many other examples in Cambodia. The painting on the left as you enter the wat, for example, depicts an occasion when the Buddha explained to a crow that the sweetest, bitterest and sourest things in the world are the comments people make to each other, and that the foulest thing in the world is a bad reputation.
