Description
Statues of guardian nyak giants stand either side of the massive, gaudily painted entrance gates. These temple grounds ring with the happy songs of children--pupils at an elementary school housed here.
The main sim, or temple hall, has a beautiful gable end, carved in natural wood against a blue mosaic background. Wooden windows and doors are carved and gilded, with mosaics adding a riot of color. From the breezy walkway around the sim you can see the simple white funeral stupas which stud the outside wall, many with Chinese inscriptions.
