Walton Hall Gardens

Description

Set in the picturesque Cheshire countryside, these impressive grounds date back to 1812 and were originally part of a much larger country estate. The hall itself was built in Elizabethan style during the 1830s and has now opened its gates so that visitors may enjoy the spacious lawns, picnic areas, children's zoo and heritage centre. With a vast range of plants from around the world, the ornamental gardens provide all year round beauty, and for the more energetic there is crazy golf, bowls and pitch 'n' putt. The gift shop stocks a good range of souvenirs and a coffee shop offers light refreshments. The stately home is also available for wedding receptions and civil ceremonies.
