Description
The name and atmosphere in this shop (it even has a winter fire and sleepy cat) lend it a certain Dickensian flavour and in fact it's the city's oldest second-hand book store. The location attracts students hunting down cheap textbooks while an eclectic stock covering a broad range of subjects brings in everyone who reads for the sheer pleasure of it. They have every genre of literature imaginable - from Proust to Jackie Collins and everything in between.
