This popular park on Södermalm is a true gem in the midst of the hectic cityscape. Sit and read or study your surroundings on a park bench; take a nap or have a picnic on the grass; meditate for a while under a tree and counteract the damaging effects of everyday pressures for a while. In the summer, Vitabergsparken is one of the favourite performance spaces for The Stockholm City Theatre's Park Theatre, and they give free shows almost daily at the open-air theatre.
