Description
This exhibition focuses on the life and works of Caterina Vigri through a philologically rigorous interpretation of her activities in relation to the historical and artistic context in which she lived. Starting with this Bolognese case, the Franciscan monasteries from the late 15th century to the post Council of Trent period, will be investigated in order to find out about female culture in the convent and the creativity of the female artist in the cloisters on Emilian territory.
