This is the place to go for books in English, a small but welcoming shop in Zone 15, opened in 1977. There are books on all kinds of subjects in English and a few in Spanish: cookery, DIY, cars, tourist guides, dictionaries, and fiction. It is one of the few places where you can find books on flora and fauna. A Guide to the Birds of Mexico and Northern Central America by S. Howell and S. Webb, for example, will help you classify species of plants and animals. Prices vary between 60 and 400 quetzals. As for availability, monthly orders arrive directly from the publishers in the United States.
