Description
Known in the city as the church in Corso Francia, the church of the Visitation is the only survivor of the ancient convent complex knocked down in 1970.
The church was built at the end of the 19th c. and still has its splendid marble altars designed by Bernardo Antonio Vittone. In fact, documents still extant show that the altars had been designed for the church of Santa Chiara, the first seat of the Order of the Visitation in Turin.
