Description
Many churches and the catholics that live throughout Bandera's Bay, pay tribute to the Virgin on the 24th of January. The Virgin of the Peace motif is inspired by the church as a way of giving the Virgin Mary the title of the mother of the Prince of Peace. The event includes processions and religious ceremonies, as well as food fairs and games. All the activities are held as a way to inspire peace and understanding. The Vatican has considered it necessary to feast on the 23rd of January, and to actively participate in the ceremonies and celebrations of the following day, as a tribute to all the people who have died in wars and terrorists attacks. Access to all churches is free of charge.
