The zoo is one big circle, with pens dotting it and bisected by a savana-type area. Each animal's habitat, while not so much true to its origins, provided a stunning view of the animal. They all seemed docile and accepting of their environment, happy to see and be seen. It is not the most impressive or high-tech zoo around, but the perfect answer if you've ever been frustrated by the crowds and no-show animals at the usual zoo.
This place also had true Canadian spirit. The zookeepers are available and were bent on showing us a good time and answering all the questions we could come up with. Also, you can get through the whole zoo in just a few hours, which makes it a short-but-sweet adventure.
