Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra was hailed as the 'Father of Independence' for his role in freeing the nation from the colonial power. He then became the first Prime Minister of Malaysia.
Once his official residence, this memorial is located in an expansive built-up area of 110,000 square feet, making it the largest memorial in the world. Housed in a sprawling complex consisting of three main buildings, it provides a permanent archive for all materials belonging or relating to the late leader. The exhibition area covers the many aspects of his life.
