Description
The Trud sports complex was constructed in 1928 and the swimming pool was built in 1979, especially for the 1980 Olympic Games. It has two shallow pools for children, an Olympic standard pool and a diving pool. The water is cleaned using hypochloride, which is believed to be more effective than the usual chlorine.
In the daytime (1:45pm-7:30pm), the large swimming pool is used by university students and students of the special sports school. At other times it is open to the general public.
A morning-only swimming pass costs 440R ($16) for 8 visits while a morning-evening pass costs 660R ($24) for 8 visits.
