The Bellagio is beautiful building in and of itself but the dancing fountains are what put it over the top. They dance to music and the music changes from show to show all of it appropriate. This is a very romantic spot and worth seeing.

This site is best seen at night as the fountains light up. Watching the fountains is like watching firecrackers. While music is played, the fountains dance by shooting straight into the air or waving back and forth. We saw the fountains perform to "Luck be a Lady Tonight" by Frank Sinatra. It was awesome to see during the climax, the fountains shoot what looked like the height of the hotel. The sounds of the fountains shooting was also very cool and sounded like fireworks. We saw this show twice, once from the ground and once from the Eiffel Tower at Paris Hotel and Casino. Both views were spectacular and both views should be seen!

Bellagio Fountains

I did not stay at the Bellagio because it is very expensive. Even though I was not a staying guest, I took a tour of the hotel lobbies and the grounds. This is a must see while in Vegas. It is a gorgeous hotel. The best part is the fountains out front. It’s best to see it at night and you should stay for more than one show.

The fountains project water to the tune of the music so it can be slow or fast and have different patters as it flows nicely with the song. The reason I say to stay for more than one show is because they play different songs. You will not believe the size of this fountain until you see it for yourself. It seriously looks like a lake in front of this massive hotel. Every 15 to 30 minutes the whole lake comes alive as water starts shooting far up into the air and is just breathe taking.

I grabbed the show times from their website:

Monday - Friday
3pm - 8pm
show every 1/2 hour
8pm - 12am
show every 15 minutes

Saturday and Sunday
12pm - 8pm
show every 1/2 hour
8pm - 12am
show every 15 minutes

Bellagio Fountains

Who knew that water could look so cool? I wish I had realized how impressive this fountain was earlier - I would have planned more opportunities to stop by and see the show.

During the week, there are shows every half hour beginning at three (noon on the weekends), and every night, starting at 8pm, they run one show every fifteen minutes until midnight. The shows might be delayed or postponed when the wind is strong, but trust me, it's worth waiting for!

The show is set in rhythm to one of thirty or so classic Vegas songs. As the music players, the jets spray water up to 200 feet in the air, and really make it dance. I didn't know it was possible, but it's true. The lighting that's turned on at night makes me most highly recommend an after-dark viewing for the best effect.

We got to the Bellagio early enough to get a good spot along the railing - this made us feel a bit more "Ocean's 11". However, a close-up spot isn't strictly necessary, since, like everything else on the strip, the fountains are huge - set in an eight acre lake that's viewable from space!

If this is your first trip to Las Vegas, you must go to the strip and experience The Fountains at the Bellagio. It is one of the most remarkable places I have ever seen. I have a whole scrapbook full of pictures, one of the best attractions of all times, and the best part about it is that it is free.

The Bellagio goes all out on everything. Everything that they have is the best of the best. Nothing less. I like to watch The Fountains of Bellagio because you see a different show every time. Every show that they put on is different because the music and water is coordinated together and each show has a different song. You can actually purchase the CD's of the music.

The Fountains of Bellagio run every half hour during daytime hours, and every 15 minutes in the evening. I recommend showing up a few minutes before the show starts just so that you can get a great view of the show. You will not want to miss it. I also recommend you bring your camera, as you will want to take a lot of pictures.

The Fountains of Bellagio are located right in front of the hotel, you cannot miss it. It is a small man made lake right in front of the complex. The Bellagio Hotel and Casino is located right in the center of the Las Vegas Strip, you have to check this one out!
