Description
Near the top of the Mount of Olives just off the paved road leading down the mountain, one finds the tombs said to be those of the biblical prophets Haggai, Becharia ben Berechia, and Malachi. The burial chambers consist of two concentric circles with 36 niches. The site was re-used by Christians in a later period. A small fee is charged to enter the site. Be sure to bring a flashlight.
