Description
This tree and moss covered park holds several significant historic monuments from the Spanish Colonial era. One of them is the 19th century bridge, named the San Antonio. It suffered serious damage from the bombs that were dropped on it in World War II. It was repaired in 1966 and is today a historic site both due to its Spanish origins and its survival of the war. Near the bridge is another monument, a statue of the mermaid, Sirena. Although moss covered, you can still see why she kept the sailors so intrigued. There are no entrance fees.
