Description
This colorful fair located in Tawai village, about 15 kilometers south of Chiang Mai, features wood-carving demonstrations and contests. Visitors can browse the multitudes of stalls and purchase handmade wood carvings and other local handicrafts, which make excellent souvenirs or gifts. Afterwards, sit back and enjoy the local folk music and dance performances. The finale for the whole event is a procession showcasing the complete range of popular northern Thai woodcrafts.
