From this busy park close to Oldham - which combines beech woodland and rolling open grassland - you get fantastic panoramic views across the countryside to the Pennines and down into Greater Manchester.
There are a number of posted walks of varying lengths and difficulty around the park and links to other places, like the impressive Crompton Moor, near Shaw. Off the paths you will find an orienteering course, a pitch and putt course, picnic areas and a popular countryside centre with a café.
