Description
This shop is quite extraordinary! Run by a couple of elderly gentlemen, this establishment feels more like a museum of ancient Chinese history than a shop. Walking through both levels brings customers into close contact with Chinese pottery from as far back as 4500BC. Particularly beautiful are ceramics from the Tang Dynasty (AD618-906). These tend to be semi-glazed in muted yellows and greens and include statues of horses and Chinese warriors. Even if the prices are steep--these are originals after all--this small shop is still worth a visit just to take in the beauty of its contents.
