Description
This is the Burmese town opposite Mae Sai. According to records, around 4,000 visitors cross over to this town each day via the Mae Sai border. Most of them are traders of gemstones, handicrafts and other traditional goods. However, one is not allowed to visit other territories in Myanmar beyond the border town and is expected to obey the laws and regulations of the country.
