Sun Harvest Citrus U Gotta Go There!
This is one of my favourite places in Fort Myers - I always make an effort to visit this store when I'm in town.
They sell a lot of tatty touristy stuff, but that's not why you go there.
At the back of the store on the left, you can get a free sample of their delicious juices - I'm very partial to grapefruit juice - this has got to be the best I've tasted! More free samples are to be had ... the most to-die-for key lime pie!
But besides the juice and the key lime pie, they also have a great deli section, where you can get all sorts of chili sauces and relishes. I must admit that this is my main reason for going to Sun Harvest. When I visited in September with three friends from England, they ALL bought a bottle of Mango Ginger Pepper Jelly, which they had cleaned me of. They ere eating it on buttered toast for breakfast, to accompany BBQ, as a snack with cheese...
Sun Harvest also do gift baskets - I guess this is their main business - delivering citrus & deli stuff all over the States - but I've never done that.
Oh, and of course there is a branch of the USPS in the back of the store - always handy.
I can't recommend this store highly enough!
