Stanford Stadium, located in the campus of the world renowned Stanford University, is the largest privately owned college football facility in America. Built in 1921, Stanford Stadium has received worldwide recognition from millions of sports fans watched the Super Bowl XIX and the Olympic Soccer competition. In 1994, World Cup Soccer took place here. The Women's World Cup came to Stanford Stadium on July 4, 1999. This stadium has held a record crowd of 94,000 spectators!
