The bookshop in the Galerie Stampa is without doubt the foremost in the city when it comes to the subject of art and people come from all over to browse its shelves. There are books on all aspects of art, such as history, ways of seeing, styles and theories.
You can also find books on philosopy, semiotics, photography, graphics and cinema. The passages between the shelves are rather narrow though! A visit to the gallery rooms is a must during any visit to the Stampa. Most of the artwork exhibited has been curated with much care and the emphasis is on contemporary art.
