Description
This popular park, just a mile from Stalybridge, is still being developed by the local council to help visitors make full use of the beautiful countryside that surrounds the town.
It is formed from 2 main areas, the Brushes Valley, which has 4 scenic reservoirs with good access and Carrbrook, just below the historic 13th century stronghold of Buckton Castle. The different locations are linked by a clearly signed network of rights of way and there is a small visitors centre if you require any additional information.
