Description
The belfry of this massive brick Catholic church is a landmark in this predominantly Arab section of Jaffa. The church, as well as a large courtyard and adjacent community centre are enclosed by a wall, which encompasses nearly an entire block. The church serves the local Arab Christian community, as is evidenced by the flyers and signs in the vicinity in Arabic. English services, however, are offered: every Monday at 7am, Wednesday at 8pm, Saturday at 11am and 7pm. The massive sanctuary seats 400, and is an awesome space.
