Description
This small family run zoo is situated close to the popular Pleasureland theme park. Home to a varied collection of animals including lions, leopards, chimpanzees, monkeys and penguins, the emphasis is on preservation and education. The zoo has an excellent success rate in their breeding programme. Visitors can also see the reptile house, aquarium, pet corner and a giant tortoise. A schoolroom and natural history museum are available within the complex. Other facilities include a picnic area, small cafe and a gift shop.
