Visitors can bring their own boats or hire one of the varied selection moored at the lake. Children love to ride on the grand 70-seat Mississippi-style paddle steamer, complete with a licensed bar, waitress service and guide. Board the 12-seater jet boat from the mile length slipway and take a spin around the lake for around £1.50 per person.
