Description
The Basel sculpture hall has one of the largest collection of casts of sculptures from Greek and Roman Antiquity in the world. It's almost preferable to undertaking a small world tour to see the originals.
At the centre is a project to recreate the Parthenon using casts, and in order to do this, they use fragments from a number of different museums. This work is explained by multimedia, and fans of Antiquity will certainly learn something.
