Skoun

Description

Skoun is a small town on Highway #6. The town's claim to fame is the huge hairy spiders which they sell to hungry travelers for around USD0.10 each. The legs are crunchy and pretty tasteless while the abdomen is full of gooey spider guts, which, despite appearances, must be edible because vendors are known to resell the legless bodies squeamish Westerners reject. Skoun is not worth the trip just for the novelty of munching on an arachnid, but it is worth a stop if you are on your way to Siep Reap or Kompong Cham.
