Senate

Description

The Kremlin is not just a museum-piece dedicated to the historical and religious richness of past Moscow. It is still very much the power-center of the Russian state, whose authority is dominated by the Presidency. The yellow building of the Senate is part of the government zone in the northern half of the Kremlin, and it is home to the official offices of the Russian president. Built in 1785 in the neoclassical style of architect Matvei Kazakov. This building is not open to the public.
