Sefton Park

Sefton Park, is a beautiful hideaway in the middle of a busy student area. The park is beautiful, with lots of long walks, a boating lake and a fully restored Victorian glass house. There are lots of statues of various 'old' people of Liverpool, ice-cream vendors, and people enjoying the Summer. This is the perfect venue for a relaxing picnic.

The glass house was restored in 2001, and has a great history behind it!

In the winter, (Nov 5 roughly) there is a great celebration of Guy Fawlkes night, if you are in the right position you can watch the fireworks mirrored in the lake!
