Description
This medium sized market on the outskirts of the city is rarely visited by tourists and therefore tends to be a much cheaper place to shop than the Morning Market. The range of goods is more limited, but it does offer clothing (both Lao and Western), cosmetics, electrical goods, fresh food, rattan and cane ware, household goods, jewelry, bicycles and hardware.
Although the concrete and tile decor is uninspiring, the stall ownrs are friendly. This is a great place to wander around, eat some fresh spring rolls and buy cheap T-shirts and household supplies.
