This is a beautiful resort. It is located next to a very trendy shopping area and unique dinning. There are several buildings with three stories on some buildings. Each pod of buildings has a courtyard with different landscaping. Our unit was a 1 bedroom for for it had a king size bed and a sleeper sofa. The kitchen is just small refrigerator and microwave - no stove. The units have various views - either courtyard or the beautiful Sedona mountains. There are laundry facilites located in each building on different floors.

The resort has two pools - one is more designed for kids with activites for children. The other pool has a pool side cabanna which is connected to the main lobby and spa. The workout facilites were excellent and the spa was fabulous. It is a full service spa with facial, massages, hair, manicures and pedicures. You can even have a massage in a gazebo by the river in the woods. The resort offers lots of activites and has a full service restaurant on site. The food was excellent and was kid friendly. The price was average for the area.

We loved exploring the entire area like Slide Rock State Park, hiking trails, sunset on Airport Road, Pink Jeep Tours, shopping in Downtown Sedona and much more. The children enjoyed the putt putt course and the pool activities. The grounds of this resort were fun to explore -- they had lots of fountains and paths to explore. Sedona is a unique trip that our family will enjoy returning to.

We spent the entire week hiking and I honestly can say it was the best vacation ever. The hiking trails are awesome. We hiked Cathedral Moutain, Little Horse Trail, Westfork Trail, Faye Mountain, and Doe Mountain. You can either take a strenous, moderate, or easy hike. All the trails are marked and have signs at the entrance, giving you the distance and the type of trail it is.

We loved climbing the big rocks! The views are incredible! Our favorite hiking trail was Cathedral Rock. We climbed to the top of the saddle! What a view! We will definitely be going back as there are so many hikes to choose from.
