It is very fun. There are many places to eat and rides to go on. If you want a lot of family fun, go to the 3D or 4D shows; they are amazing. Everyone is friendly.

This is a great park to visit. Children between 3-10 will especially have a great time. Don't miss the main shows and get a schedule and plan your day around the show times.

My favorite memory was seeing the Shamu show at night time. They use a lot of lights and the big jumbo screen. We bought three bottles of hot chocolate from the walking vendors to keep warm. If you're going to see this show, (and you should because it's Sea World's main attraction) do try to see it at night.

But San Diego's coastal weather can be chilly, so bring a jacket. Don't be fooled by southern California's warm weather. This park is right on the ocean so it can get pretty chilly. We were there in June, too, so we were thought it would be warm, but it was COLD!

We went to Sea World with our frineds and their kids. I have a two-year-old boy and they have an eight-year-old boy and a two-year-old girl. My buddy and I and the kids sat in the "soaker" section of the show, front and center. They don't call it the "soaker" section for nothing. All the kids loved it. When we left the show we were dripping.

After that, we hit the Shipwreck Rapids ride. The line was huge because it is the only "ride" in the park, but it was worth the wait. We started to dry off in line, but when we exited the ride we were dripping again. We ate lunch at the Shipwreck Reef Cafe. It was expensive, as expected, but the food was really fresh and good, especially for an amusement park. I'll definitely eat there again.

Filled primarily with shows which both entertain and educate, and the displays of animals were great! When you first get to the park, plan which shows you want to see and when. It will dictate which displays you see at what point of your day. I wish that they would time the shows so that you could do a circle of the park and see each show in order, but when we were there you couldn't. It made for a bit of backtracking, and tired the children out faster than we would have liked.

Otherwise the displays are just the right size for most kids to see the animals and not get bored or tired with them. The rides are really more for the older kids and adults.

Sea World is worth a visit, especially if you love animals. There are daily shows and performances by animals and humans. This place is entertaining for the whole family and you should start your day early so you can catch all the activities.
