Description
Located in the upper floors of the beautiful Sao Domingos Church, this museum is a time capsule of the Catholic church in Asia. Actually, saying that, the first floor of the museum houses an exhibition detailing the recent renovation of Sao Domingos itself. Elsewhere, the museum is filled with many fine examples of religious paraphernalia, including exquisite silver rosaries, clerical vestments, statues of saints and two large bronze church bells, dating from the early 1800s and cast in Macau. Entrance is via the church or cloister.
