This famous market brings in all the top American Indian artists from around the U.S. It's wonderful! The entire downtown area of this enchanting city shuts the street traffic down so only foot traffic is allowed. The vendors have tents lining the streets and plaza area. There are amazing works of sculpture, painting, crafts, jewelry, pottery.... you name it. It's awe inspiring some of the work you see! It really gives you a great sense of appreciation when you see the artists and with their works! Something everyone should try to see once in their lives if the enjoy the southwest!

The town is packed with Native Americans selling their wares. It is a feast for the eyes especially if you are a collector. The quality is very high and they are very selective in who may participate in the event. It starts on a Saturday which is usually the busier day.
