Description
This is a terrific place to spend a sunny Southern California day. It is considered by many to be one of the top surfing beaches in Southern California. It's also a good sunbathing beach, if you can get over the imposing image of the nuclear plant. Be sure to watch for inshore holes (unexpected underwater holes) and stingrays. There are camping facilities here for those who want to stay awhile. The beach below the sandstone bluffs spans three-and-a-half miles of beautiful sands.
