Description
Pewter is an alloy of tin, copper and antimony. This factory is where pewter wares have been made for over a century and is the largest of its kind in the world. A Chinese immigrant, Yong Koon pioneered pewter handicraft, in 1885. Since then, the Malaysian pewter industry has grown into a multi-million dollar business and Malaysian pewter products have become a household name all over the world.
Outside, visitors can view the largest pewter mug in the world, whilst inside, a guided tour takes them through the various processes of pewter manufacture.
