Description
This museum provides visitors a better understanding of the dynamic activities and operations of the police force. Formerly the Police Senior Officers' mess, the property is now a museum after an extensive renovation.
Housed within the building is a diverse collection of artefacts, which numbers some 7,595 items. These exhibits cover various aspects of crime and crime prevention, ranging from secret societies to guns confiscated from Communist Terrorists, as well as photographs of the police force. It also holds the history and activities of the force dating back to the Malacca Sultanate in 1511.
