Description

This park in San Juan Capistrano features acres of gorgeous scenery complete with forests of lush trees, streams of clear water, a wildlife preserve, hiking trails and more. You can camp under the stars, but leave Fluffy and Fido at home because no pets are allowed. Hike over 30 miles of trails for all fitness levels. This is a great place for children's camping trips because there are many opportunities for learning, from the telescopes pointing to the sky to the nature walks and other activities that the park arranges for its young visitors.

Camping costs $12 per vehicle (registration to 10pm nightly). Day admission is $2 per vehicle Monday through Friday; $4 per vehicle on weekends, and $5 on holidays.
